Since covid, I feel like Brantford's really gone down hill. Drug problems are absolutely an issue and it's no surprise it reigns surpeme on the list, despite the spread of homeless people from downtown to the fairview area (Brantford Commons) and considerable increase in random fights breaking out (both verbal and physical). It's sad to see but it's true. I understand why immigration distribution is so high here because the hatecrime seems low, but that still doesn't mean it's safe.
I hope those higher-ups making decisions for Ontario pull themselves together, because it's a war out here lol

I have lived in Brantford my entire life and I can say yes, 100% there is a huge drug problem that is very obvious while going downtown. I have also noticed that depending on the company you keep and where you go in this city this place can also be the greatest and easiest place to live in.

Brantford is a safe, nice and homey area. Great restaurants, people and a great museum. I moved to Brantford a while ago and came across no trouble

Brantford is a white trash town. In 1985 had the highest crime rate of all cities in Canada. Lots of opioids. Low levels of education. High levels of teenage pregnancy, theft, murder, assault, etc.

Hope one day the riffraff will leave, but it's going to be a long time.
